The product range currently includes activated carbon, charcoal, biomass, alumina, and metallurgical briquettes. Depending on the application, the raw material composition, density, and physical and thermal properties can be individually tailored to the respective process requirements. As a result, the briquettes are suitable for thermal applications as well as for metallurgical processes and specialized industrial applications.
EIFELGLUT briquettes are used, among other places, in the steel and iron industry, foundries, non-ferrous metallurgy, the cement and lime industry, the chemical industry, the energy sector, and in recycling and environmental technology. Our ultra-modern plant, which is under continuous expansion, is capable of producing up to 45,000 tonnes of briquettes every year.
